The Onyx Drive Roadway Improvements project is a 1.4-mile non-motorized trail and roadway improvement project. While the existing roadway was composed of only a two-way road, the improvements expanded the road section to include curb, gutter, sidewalk, and a multimodal trail connecting the local residents to nearby schools, parks, and a wildlife area. Traffic calming and pedestrian safety were design priorities for this project, which also included improved drainage conditions.
