    Marketing Coordinator

We’re seeking a thoughtful and proactive Marketing Coordinator who excels at building connections, taking action, and contributing meaningfully within a collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending strategy with execution—supporting compelling proposals, engaging content, and marketing efforts that make a measurable impact.

    Among other things, here’s what you’ll be doing:

    • Lead proposal development, including facilitating kickoff meetings, conducting research, coordinating with subconsultants, crafting persuasive content, refining boilerplate, executing layout and formatting, managing edits, and overseeing production and submission.
    • Provide support for team interviews, including prep meeting scheduling and attendance, slide development and edits, layout of leave-behinds and handouts, time tracking, and feedback on talking points,
    • Assist with qualification responses including timely responses to teaming requests and coordination with internal stakeholders.
    • Update and organize marketing assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
    • Maintain and manage up-to-date information within the marketing database to ensure materials are current, well-organized, and easily accessible.
    • Assist in developing compelling content for award submissions, including narrative development and supporting documentation.
    • Provide marketing support across firmwide initiatives, contributing to campaigns, outreach efforts, and internal communications.
    • Support the planning and execution of events, including logistics, promotion, and onsite coordination

    Ideal qualifications we seek in a candidate:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Basic proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
    • Foundational knowledge of marketing practices, including public procurement processes, industry research, persuasive writing, and design/layout techniques.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively, build positive working relationships, and contribute productively within cross-functional teams.
    • Strong organization, initiative, and follow-through.

    The details:

    • This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tacoma, WA, with at least 3 days per week in our office.

    Among other things, here’s what you’ll be doing:

    • Participate in design discussions under guidance, contributing to collaborative, creative design solutions.
    • Assist in translating design concepts into sketches, diagrams, and BIM models to support various design phases.
    • Support the development of presentation materials for coordination with the design team and owner, learning to communicate design intent clearly.
    • Assist with technical development of design and details through various project phases, supporting overall architectural design and documentation.
    • Contribute to design and documentation using Revit and related BIM tools across multiple project phases.
    • Support coordination efforts by collaborating with project teams across various disciplines.
    • Assist with zoning and building code review under guidance to gain understanding of code requirements and design impacts.
    • Support permitting processes, quality control, and construction administration efforts in coordination with senior staff.
    • Gain foundational understanding of project scope, schedule, and budget, and how these impact daily tasks and team workflows.

    Ideal qualifications we seek in a candidate:

    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
    • Early-career candidates with 0-2 years of experience in a professional architecture setting.
    • Proficient in Revit for basic modeling and documentation tasks.
    • Experience supporting one or more design phases such as Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CDs), and Construction Administration (CA).
    • Foundational knowledge of zoning and building codes.
    • Ability to clearly communicate design and technical intent to team members.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and learn from senior staff.
    • Enthusiasm for developing technical, design, and communication skills through hands-on project experience.

    The details:

    • This is a full-time position based in our Tacoma office. Some regional travel is necessary.
