YMCA’s Camp Seymour has provided camping and outdoor recreation opportunities for more than a century. To accommodate increased growth, BCRA provided design of a new dining facility that serves 350 guests with both indoor and outdoor options. Natural daylighting and radiant flooring in the new dining hall have reduced annual energy expenditures by 30%. Our Interior and Experiential Environment design playfully reinforces the camp’s outdoor recreation theme with custom canoe-themed lighting fixtures. A new outdoor amphitheater provides campers with covered recreation and gathering areas.
