Madison 25

Location: Tacoma, WA
Client: Rush Companies
Area: 141 units

Located in Tacoma's Proctor District, Madison25 brings 141 units and vibrant retail space to the beloved neighborhood.

The Proctor Street-facing exterior is influenced by the historic firehouse and existing retail nearby and includes the use of elegant brick and glass. The side, residential-facing area of the building is appropriately scaled and clad for a neighborhood feel. A central spine along the inside of the facility is delineated through color and striking building forms mark the residential entrance. The end result is an exterior that exhibits a contemporary aesthetic, different from but complementary to Proctor Station, completed by the same owner/design team, just a few blocks away.
