BCRA’s civil and structural engineers analyzed and developed multiple options for replacement or refurbishment of the existing pump station, created a concept plan, investigated phasing, and prepared cost estimates for each option in order to find solutions that met performance and budget goals. Due to the location of the new onshore pump station, BCRA worked to secure permitting with several agencies.
