BCRA designed the brand identity and clinics for Indigo, MultiCare's new urgent care clinic prototype. Seattle’s coffee culture helped shape the casual, community-focused atmosphere that feels more like a lounge than a healthcare facility, while still being hospital-grade. This hospitality sensibility is a unique take on the traditional urgent care, with a concierge service and special amenities for patients. Accessibility and connection through visibility were achieved with view corridors, a centralized care team space, and creative use of opaque glass and lighting. Indigo was awarded International Interior Design Association’s 6th annual IIDA Healthcare Interior Design Competition, which celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the design and furnishings of healthcare interior spaces. BCRA's design for Indigo was recognized in the category of Ambulatory-Urgent Care. Indigo Urgent Care has more than two dozen locations in the Puget Sound and Spokane areas.
