The new Erath Tasting Room in Portland’s Pearl District leverages authenticity of space and the Erath brand. As with their wines, a sense of discovery is woven throughout the converted warehouse, where heavy timber, brick, and concrete meet bold colors and sculptural elements. There are distinct lounge areas for a variety of intimate tasting experiences, as well as flexible space in the back for private or socially distanced dining. Design harkens back to the 1970s, when Erath, a pioneering Oregon brand, was formed. Experiential graphics on the manifesto wall explains their story. In all, the renovation delivers a friendly, unpretentious tasting experience that feels authentically Oregonian.
