Director of Human Resources

12+ Years Experience | Tacoma Office

The purpose of BCRA’s Director of Human Resources is to collaborate with senior leadership to carry out BCRA’s overall goals and strategies relating to Human Resources. These include but are not limited to lead, direct, develop, and coordinate policies, and activities within the HR function, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the firms’ overall purpose and strategic plans.

  • Managing HR functions like compensation and training.
  • Encouraging leadership in engagement initiatives.
  • Developing and managing HR budgets.
  • Sourcing and developing external business partners.
  • Monitoring and ensuring company compliance with employment laws.
  • Identifying success metrics in HR with which to manage by.
  • Supervising firm-wide performance review process.
  • Manages interdisciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational and industry trends.
  • Strategize, develop, and implement benefit package.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain legal compliance with the HR functions and corporate policies.
  • Implementing and managing successful performance review program and process.
  • Research and analyze trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies and apply to practice, policy, and communications.
  • Administer or oversee disciplinary matters, training and development issues, productivity and culture functions
  • Plan, develop, and implement policies.

Job Requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • At least 12+ years of Human Resources management experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
  • HR Experience within mid-sized firms preferred.
  • AEC Industry experience preferred.
