BCRA is a 2013 Webby Honoree

In early 2012, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) was tasked by the EPA to lead a wood smoke reduction program to help areas in Pierce County get pollution levels back into legal levels. BCRA was contracted by PSCAA to run the communication side of that program. A significant portion of the work was strategic public outreach to raise awareness of the issue and encourage participation in two key calls to action; sign up for burn ban alerts and obey bans when they are called and trade in an old, uncertified wood stove for a cleaner technology or for cash. A significant focus of our outreach efforts focused an a easy to navigate, highly informative website: http://airsafepiercecounty.org/

We are pleased to share that our work for PSCAA was selected as a 'Green Website Honoree' by the Webby Awards
