BCRA welcomes new Landscape Architect, Civil Engineer, and Interior Designer

SEATTLE, Washington – June 16, 2016 – BCRA has recently hired three new employees; Graham Golbuff; Brenna Harrington; and Marissa Rosati.

BCRA is thrilled to welcome three new additions to their multi-disciplinary team. The talent that each individual brings will be a huge asset not only to BCRA but to their clients as well.

Graham Golbuff, a University of Washington graduate, joins BCRA’s Landscape Architecture team as a Landscape Designer in the Seattle office. Having previously interned at GGLO, Graham comes to BCRA with experience in project and program management, urban and sustainable agriculture, and Pacific Northwest ecology. His favorite aspect about landscape architecture is the potential to positively impact communities and he gains inspiration from existing site materials, site history, and ecology. Since starting at BCRA, Graham has worked in the education, parks and recreations, and residential markets, and looks forward to serving several markets and project types.

Joining the Civil Engineering team, Brenna Harrington joins BCRA’s Tacoma office just after graduating from the University of Portland with her Bachelor of Science. During her education, she interned at Puget Sound Energy, where she worked on permitting and mitigation processes, foundation design calculations and cost estimates, and substation construction specifications. Her favorite aspect of civil engineering is the opportunity to problem solve and see her work benefitting the client and community. Brenna describes how her design process is inspired by the challenge of incorporating creativity in situations with practical constraints; she explains, “A lot is limited by the situation, but I like to explore new and creative ways to approach design within those constraints.”

Bringing two years of experience to BCRA, Marissa Rosati, Washington State University alum, was hired as an Interior Designer in the Tacoma office. Coming from Coates Design Architects, Marissa’s professional experience includes work in the restaurant/hospitality, office, and single family residential markets. As an interior designer, the intent of Marissa’s work has been to create human-centered environments that reduce energy use, celebrate daylit interiors, provide a connection to the natural environment, and foster social interaction. Marissa believes that the built environment gives people the opportunity to create beautiful, innovative spaces that enhance their best life experiences.
