Metro Parks Tacoma hired BCRA to improve access to this site by improving parking, providing an accessible pathway to the waterfront, and adding a promenade. The improvements include several plazas designed to accentuate the picturesque views from the park. Stormwater management that uses low impact development best management practices to provide water quality treatment with a bioretention cell and dispersion of the treated runoff is also part of the project.
