The new Community Center, tucked into the existing Yelm City Park, features a bright, open multipurpose space that serves a variety of functions for the community. Roll-up doors provide connections to the outdoors and increase the Center's versatility.
A large bioretention cell, designed by BCRA’s civil engineers, provides on-site treatment and some infiltration. Drought-tolerant trees and ornamental plantings inspired by the surrounding prairie were also part of our design.
